Beauty Speaks to Us Through Plants

At first, we hear the plant world as a general sound, as a baby hears language. Then, like a drunk rising from the street, we feel this language inviting us into its domain with a sunny, voluptuous, beckoning. And later, actual words: the yellow jackets are eating the fruit. Come! Quick!!  And eventually we hear the doe with her fawns, talking to the plum. Yes. Oh yes. So sour and sweet at once. And the plum, you are just the one for me.
